"I'm really confident this kind of activity can help to attract more visitors to Kelantan.

"The state tourism body will give its co-operation to the Asia-Pacific Flight Training (APFT),  the company that set up the club," she said.

Zurina said a meeting on the new product with those in the tourism industry would be held soon.

Among those present at the event were KBFC adviser Mohd Najib Badruddin and APFT principal Captain Dawek Sabeli.

Najib said the activity, which was introduced two years ago, would give an opportunity to the people to try a new adventure as well as to train individuals to fly as a hobby.

"This opportunity is open to all, including children. They just need to pay RM80 to fly between 15 and 30 minutes. This  is good as it can expose the public to the beauty of the state capital from the air."
